EFGC Website Redesign: Information Architecture
In preparation for a full website redesign with an external development firm, the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago underwent an internal review of their information architecture and healthcare content.
I was asked to research, consolidate and reorganize a large amount of healthcare content into an informational section titled “Epilepsy Facts.” I reached out to approved healthcare sources to expand content in certain areas, trimmed down any redundant content and created a logical hierarchy for comprehensive presentation of the information. Final content and IA for the section was submitted for review to EFGC.
The new website and “Epilepsy Facts” section went live in March, 2011.
